Parenting protections, adoption, repeal of DOMA, health insurance reform, immigration reform, safe schools, and workplace equality are many of the issues Family Equality Council is currently working on at the state and federal level. The newly-formed Facebook movement was created to counteract the hate from One Million Moms. The group’s creator posted “Love needs to be louder than hate!” “We will not stand silently while groups like One Million Moms or the American Family Foundation spread their anti-gay message. We believe every human being has the right to love who he or she was born to love and not suffer discrimination because of it!”
